Discover Virgin Voyages room service (ship Eats) and other onboard offerings with their Red Book
One of the things we love about Virgin Voyages is their take on everything from the muster drill to how they present information. Unlike other cruise lines where there are pieces of paper strewn about the cabin without a cohesive feel, Virgin has put together the “Red Book”.
The Red Book is everything to know about your cabin, room service (aka Ship Eats), and all the little uniquenesses about Virgin Voyages
What you’ll find in the Red Book:
- Ship Information
- Ways to set up your cabin
- Room Service / Ship Eats
- Drink Delivery & Prices
- Spa Treatments
- Bimini Maps
- Laundry & Other Services
Enjoy & I hope this gives you a helpful sneak peek of what to expect on your voyage!

A few things about Virgin Voyages Ship Eats
Room service on Virgin Voyages is essentially 24 hours with different menus for breakfast and then the rest of the day. Almost everything is complimentary with a few exceptions that will be noted on the Virgin Voyages app.
Additionally, there is now a $7 delivery charge (up from the original $5) – BUT they still waive this delivery charge if you have any item on your order that has a fee, regardless of how much that item is. Just ordering a coffee will waive the delivery fee!
In our experience, most things arrived timely and still warm. A few times, there was a delay leading to a cold steak. Not ice cold, but lukewarm. To be fair though, after a full Scarlet night, the least of my worries was a lukewarm steak.
A late-night beer and cheeseburger on the balcony is always a real treat! 🙂
