“Port of Rotterdam” is an industrial facility and is NOT where your cruise will be! Cruise ships dock at the “Cruise Terminal Rotterdam”. If you’re looking for the cruise ship on a map do NOT look for “The Port of Rotterdam” – you’ll be in the wrong place.
How far is Rotterdam city center from the cruise port?
Walking distance from the part of Rotterdam to the city center (Blaak) where Markthal and the Cube Houses are is approximately 30 minutes by foot (1.5 miles / 2.5km). Alternatively, the Metro station just outside of the cruise ship will get you to the same location in just 10 minutes. When you exit the ship, go left towards Wilhelminaplein metro station.

The train travel time is about 40 minutes from Rotterdam Centraal Station and tickets are available at a ticket counter or via kiosk. The trains are almost all direct without any changes and will end in the city center of Amsterdam.

Euromast
Euromast is an iconic observation tower in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Standing at 185 meters (607 feet) tall, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city and its surroundings. Gouda cheese itself is internationally renowned for its distinctive taste and creamy texture. The cheese market operates from 10am until 12.30pm every Thursday from April until September.
