Collapsible Water Bottle
On cruise ships, the cost to purchase water bottles is quite high! Use a refilling station on the ship so you always have a bottle of water by the pool to take with you on an excursion. (huge bonus is you’re contributing to less plastic by not purchasing bottles of water!)

Collapsible Water Bottles are great to take on a cruise. First and foremost, they’re easy to travel and take up little space. Why buy one of these bottles, you might ask? On cruise ships, the cost to purchase water bottles is quite high and many new ships have bottle-filling stations so you can have a bottle of water out to the pool without having to purchase one. Most importantly, carry a bottle of water on an excursion without having to purchase bottles that are likely to be overpriced when you get off the ship. A huge bonus is you’re contributing to less plastic by not purchasing bottles of water!

EDITOR REVIEW
A collapsible water bottle is one of the things I tell people they should always have, especially for excursions. People really like to bring water bottles on a cruise for a variety of reasons, but they take so much valuable packing space and are generally bulky. This is why we like this collapsing bottle making it easy to pack. Take it on an excursion where water may be hard to come by (or expensive) and when it’s empty – fold it down into your bag or jacket pocket. It’s not only convenient but environmentally friendly – avoiding all of the waste of disposable plastics.
It’s worth noting that the bottle is a soft material not rigid like a traditional water bottle. This is what allows it to fold!
The only reason we give this 4 stars instead of five is the smell of the bottle when it’s new. It’s not terribly surprising that it smells of plastic (it’s PLASTIC after all)… but it was a bit offputting. After two washes with dish soap, the smell was gone. Just be sure to open the bottle, and wash it a couple of times before using. Don’t just toss it in your suitcase immediately after getting it delivered without opening it first!
